Group Supervision at Safe & Sound: A Humanistic, Person-Centred Place to Grow
This fall, Safe & Sound Therapeutics is opening several closed group supervision cohorts for counselling students, newer clinicians, and established practitioners seeking thoughtful clinical reflection, ethical consultation, professional support, and meaningful collegial connection.
Dr. Natalie Rogers (Daughter of Carl Rogers) was my supervisor
My approach to supervision is deeply shaped by my training with Dr. Natalie Rogers, daughter of Carl Rogers and founder of Person-Centred Expressive Arts Therapy. Natalie’s work affirmed what I have come to know again and again in clinical practice: growth happens in the presence of safety, authenticity, creativity, compassion, and relationship.
Humanistic, person-centred supervision is not simply about reviewing cases or offering advice. It is about creating a reflective space where clinicians can deepen their awareness of themselves, their clients, and the therapeutic relationship. It is a place to explore ethical questions, countertransference, nervous system responses, clinical uncertainty, professional identity, and the deeper meaning beneath the work.
Closed Cohorts
At Safe & Sound, our supervision groups are intentionally small, closed cohorts designed to support trust, confidentiality, and clinical depth. These are not drop-in consultation meetings. They are professional learning circles for clinicians who want to grow with presence, courage, discernment, and care.
Fall 2026 group supervision offerings include:
- The Emerging Counsellor Collective Cohorts A + B
For Master’s-level counselling students completing practicum and developing confidence, ethics, skill, and professional identity.
- The Reflective Practice Circle
For established clinicians seeking humanistic, person-centred group supervision, case consultation, ethical reflection, and collegial connection.
- The Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice Circle
For clinicians working with neurodivergent clients, parents, caregivers, and family systems.
- Supervision for Newer Clinicians
For clinicians in their first 1 to 5 years of practice who are building confidence, caseload stability, ethical clarity, and a grounded professional self.
These groups are rooted in the belief that clinicians do not grow in isolation. We grow in relationship. We grow when we are witnessed, challenged, supported, and invited back into presence.
You do not have to hold the work alone.
If you are a counselling student, newer clinician, or established practitioner looking for a reflective supervision community, we welcome you to explore our Fall 2026 group supervision cohorts at Safe & Sound Therapeutics.
