“Hasty climbers have sudden falls.” - John Clarke
Do you remember the last time you were rushing around the house or trying to get out of the door? Did something go wrong? Such as milk spilling on the floor or toothpaste dribbling on your shirt? We all know that running around like a chicken without a head can lead to mistakes. Sometimes even making the tasks take longer than the original time frame. Give yourself grace to slow down and take things from hyperspeed to turtle speed.
It’s okay to take 5 deep breaths, to calm down your system and reset for success. A gentle reminder to yourself that everything that can get done will get done. And if it doesn’t, there is always tomorrow and that is okay too.
