Big emotions, shutdowns, or constant tension often do not come out of nowhere. Something underneath isn’t being understood yet. Our approach isn’t one-size-fits-all counselling. We don’t focus on “fixing” people. We can figure out what’s happening in real time and determine what truly helps.
Are you or a loved one feeling:
- overwhelmed or shutdown?
- have big emotional reactions?
- sensory sensitivity overload?
- have difficulty with transitions?
- experience ongoing stress at home, school and / or friendships?
Sometimes this is connected to ADHD, autism, or neurodivergent differences; we will start with your real experience, not just a label.
What it’s like to come in:
- You don’t have to sit still, have the right words, or “be okay.”
- There are tools in the room to help you think, move, or regulate while we talk, as this tends to work best for many people.
For parents and adults:
- If things feel stuck, exhausted, or feel like nothing is working, there’s usually a reason.
- Together we make sense of what’s happening and find practical ways forward in a healthy way.
To get started:
- If you’re ready, you can reach out to book a session or ask questions.
- We’ll begin in a way that feels manageable.
- You don’t have to figure this out on your own.
- We can take it one step at a time, together.
